Now, we’re seeking a Head of Finance to take on this new position for us, supporting our CFO, to manage all aspects of financial operations and be an integral part of our senior management team to help drive our business forward.

Not to worry, we don’t require a startup background, but you must be someone that thrives in a business of our size and pace. Your experience is crucial, and your impact will resonate across the organisation.

You will demonstrate the following:

• Drive financial excellence through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis in collaboration with department heads and leadership.
• Expert in financial reporting, delivering precise statements, reports, and analyses on time.
• Innate compliance with accounting standards and adept management of cash flow, working capital, and liquidity strategies.
• Proven track record in building high-performing teams with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Background in evaluating and optimising financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, incorporating cutting-edge tools for enhanced operations.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments, with a keen eye on remaining at the forefront of technological advancements.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.

The Role:

As Head of Finance in our rapidly scaling tech startup, you'll drive growth by spearheading financial strategy and FP&A initiatives. You will manage a team of 2, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate financial reporting.

Other responsibilities include:

• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures to enhance liquidity and mitigate financial risks.
• Evaluate and optimise financial systems and processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to establish robust reporting in Xero, analyse markets, and report on overheads and costs.
• Play a crucial role in revenue recognition and tackle unique challenges in our SaaS-driven business.
• Take ownership of our year-end financial reporting, tax returns, and payroll analysis.
• Line management of the Finance team, driving continuous development through in-house training and providing admin support.
