Introduction:

As a rapidly evolving and innovative technology company, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic Chief of Staff to the CPTO (Chief Product & Technology Officer), who will play a pivotal role in driving our transformation and improvement initiatives across Product Management, Product Strategy, Engineering, Customer Engagement, Infosec, and Cybersecurity. Role Overview:

The Chief of Staff will act as a critical link between the CPTO, the CPTO Leadership Team, and other departments ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution of key programs and projects. You will oversee a variety of strategic initiatives, from inception to completion, that enhance our product offerings, streamline engineering processes, and strengthen our customer engagement strategies. This role requires a high degree of ownership, flexibility, and the ability to navigate complex challenges effectively, always oriented towards results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Execution: Support the CPTO in developing and implementing strategic initiatives across multiple domains including product development, engineering, customer relations, cybersecurity, and more
  • Program & Project Coordination and Management: Take charge of organizing, coordinating, and driving forward key projects. Ensure all initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and delivered within agreed timelines
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the CPTO and other departments to foster collaboration and ensure cohesive action across all teams. Facilitate communication and alignment on project goals, progress, and outcomes
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance metrics to effectively measure project success and impact. Regularly report on progress to the CPTO and other executive leaders. Oversee the development, implementation, and tracking of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the CPTO's office. You will ensure that these objectives are clearly communicated, regularly reviewed, and effectively integrated into daily operations to drive focus and accountability across all leadership functions. This will include coordinating quarterly OKR planning sessions, monthly reviews, and end-of-cycle performance assessments to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals and continuous improvement in execution and outcomes
  • Leadership Coordination. Own and coordinate the CPTO leadership staff schedule, ensuring optimal time management, appropriate focus to align leadership activities and decision-making processes to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Problem Solving and Innovation: Proactively identify bottlenecks and challenges within initiatives and programs. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to gather insights, drive buy-in, and ensure comprehensive understanding of strategic initiatives
  • Leadership Development: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development

Job Requirements:

  • High degree of ownership and a proactive approach to tackling challenges and finding solutions
  • Experience in a product technology company with Product Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields is highly desirable
  • Change Management: Strong capabilities in managing change, addressing resistance, and ensuring successful adoption of new practices and technologies
  • Technology Acumen: Solid understanding of current technology trends and how they impact your work and the company
  • Ability to work with a global organization, across cultures and time zones, travel and hybrid/remote work as needed

Salary Range: 

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $145,000 and $165,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
