Acrolinx is an AI-powered Editorial Manager. The world’s largest brands, including companies like Microsoft, Apple, Citi, and Volkswagen use Acrolinx to infuse automation across their editorial process, resulting in huge efficiency as measured in time to publication and cost. In addition to efficiency benefits, companies like the ones I mentioned improve overall brand alignment across content, reduce risk associated with problematic content, and increase the business impact of everything they write. Generative AI is helping companies make MORE content, but not better content, resulting in editorial bottlenecks and backlogs, meaning that, while there is real value in the use of GenAI, companies simply can't realize that value without an automated Editorial Manager like Acrolinx.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for entire projects or functions that have a considerable impact on the results and operations in the department. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineering leads during agile planning. You have comprehensive and advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures. This will make you a valued member of the team by being involved in different levels of architecture planning. The role will also expect the following of you:

  • Write code, tests, and documentation.

  • Use best practices to write clean, maintainable, and secure code.

  • Have a hand in DevOps and the operability of the platform.

  • Work on green field projects as well as maintain existing ones.

  • Own the technical aspects of release management.

  • Play a part in library choices and implementation details.

 

Your Profile

  • You’re a developer at heart.

  • You’re an excellent and respectful communicator.

  • Java is a programming language that you happily use and you’re familiar with the tools.

  • You know continuous delivery and modern agile practices.

  • You don’t have to have a fully developed skill set, but you have an interest in quickly learning new stuff.

  • You’ve heard of Site Reliability Engineering and care about how your code behaves in production.

  • You’d primarily write Java for our backend services and also take responsibility for getting your code out there to production.

  • You enjoy DevOps and automation to increase integration and delivery efficiency.

  • You have experience with modern APIs and messaging systems

  • You hold dear to your heart coding best practices and industry standards

  • You’re fluent in English.
