What you will be doing
We are seeking a Senior Automation and Manual QA Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for automating, executing, debugging, and maintaining the automation framework. You will collaborate closely with other QA engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and developers across various Agile teams to review and consolidate your work.
Your responsibilities will include writing and executing test scripts for functional component tests, regression tests, backward compatibility tests, smoke tests, and build verification tests. In addition to automation, you will perform manual QA verifications, requiring proficiency and confidence in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
The platform you will be working on is an e-commerce marketplace that necessitates testing APIs, web, and mobile applications.
What you should have
- 5+ years of experience in Automation development using Cucumber/Selenium Webdriver/Playwright using Object-oriented languages (e.g. Java etc.)
- Experience building up Automation Test Frameworks, ideally for Web, and Mobile (iOS and Android)
- Experience using Testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, Calabash
- Experience in Agile Methodology in full SDLC
- Understands the concepts of the Behaviour Driven Design/Development (BDD)
- Hands-on experience with Test Cycle Management tools like JIRA
- Overseeing the Automation test process for various projects with an emphasis on Mobile QA
- Writing Test plans, Test scripts, Test Specifications, Execution and Debugging
- CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Development) experience with GIT and Jenkins
- Strong soft skills for effective collaboration with the development team and stakeholders
- Experience in running release demonstrations for stakeholders
Other skills and experience which would be beneficial
- Familiar with Amazon Workspace Cloud (AWS) and Magento is a big plus
- Familiar with KPI model
