About the role:

As a Supply Chain Engagement Specialist in our Value Chain Engagement team you will empower some of the world’s largest Consumer Goods companies to accelerate their supply chain decarbonisation journeys and deliver impact reduction at scale.

Working directly with key customers and their suppliers, you will design, launch, and manage Supply Chain Engagement Programmes. To do this, you will leverage our SaaS platform’s environmental impact calculation and analytics capabilities to help customers make data-driven decisions about their Supply Chain Engagement and Decarbonisation strategies, and you'll be the key point of contact and advisor to stakeholders leading these strategies.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead on the Design & Launch of Supply Chain Engagement Programmes
    • Leverage your sustainability expertise to design and implement Supply Chain Engagement and Decarbonisation programmes for our global customers
    • Lead workshops with key stakeholders to define programme objectives, KPIs and timelines to successfully deliver their Supply Chain Decarbonisation goals
    • Build compelling deliverables that exceed expectations including Supply Chain Programme Strategy Documents, Supplier Communications Packs and Decarbonisation Roadmaps
    • Carry out supplier sessions to ensure suppliers are aligned on programme goals and are set up for success in sharing data via the Altruistiq platform
  • Provide ongoing strategic guidance on Supply Chain Engagement Programmes
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering continuous strategic support as they progress their decarbonisation journeys
    • Conduct quarterly strategic reviews with customers to assess progress, refine strategies, and ensure they are on track to achieve their sustainability goals
    • Align customers with our vision for Supply Chain Decarbonisation and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) exchange
  • Drive the continuous improvement of our Platform and Services
    • Share customer feedback and insights with our Product teams to drive platform improvements
    • Identify opportunities to optimise our Value Chain Engagement Services, prioritising scalability and impact
    • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management teams to increase satisfaction and platform adoption

Who we’re looking for:

This role is ideal for someone with sustainability advisory experience, exceptional communication skills and a problem-solving, entrepreneurial mindset. The role is suitable for someone with 2-5 years professional experience.

We believe the successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

Delivers Impactful Results

  • 2-5 years of experience in a high-performance environment ideally delivering multiple high impact sustainability projects for clients in the Consumer Goods sector or in-house at a Consumer Goods company.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis (e.g. MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase, SQL or similar).

Exemplary Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of building trusted relationships with senior sustainability stakeholders at some of the world’s largest Consumer Goods companies.

Entrepreneurial Spirit & Problem-Solving Ability

  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment.
  • A natural "go getter", who has examples of innovating to improve customer experiences and driving internal efficiencies.
