We are looking for a Senior Director of Finance who can help scale our business and prepare us for our next phase of growth.
About the Role:
As Senior Director of Finance at Altruistiq, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and preparing us for future fundraising. You will lead our finance function, establishing robust processes and controls while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale our finance function, establishing best-in-class processes, controls, and reporting
- Lead Strategic Finance, providing key insights to drive business decisions
- Lead the company through fundraise activities as and when necessary, including data room preparation and financial due diligence readiness
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Partner with CEO and broader senior leadership team on strategic initiatives and planning
- Oversee month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Implement and optimise financial systems and tools
- Build and develop the finance team as we scale
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk to ensure financial stability and support the company’s growth trajectory.
- Establish relevant metrics/KPIs across the business and engage cross functionally to drive performance in-line with those targets
- Support and own elements of international expansion
About You:
- 8+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years in senior finance roles
- Experience in SaaS or technology companies strongly preferred
- Strong track record of building and scaling finance functions in high-growth environments
- Experience preparing companies for and executing successful fundraising rounds
- Deep expertise in financial planning, modelling, and analysis
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK accounting standards (ACA qualification preferred)
- Experience implementing financial systems and controls
