The Role:

Our engineering team works directly with customers to solve complex, mission-critical challenges using Arena’s cutting-edge products and technologies. Deployment Leads own the success of the deployment from end to end—from use case identification to mapping of workflows to valuable integrations, and work closely with Arena’s core product teams to identify features and capabilities that deliver value to users in real-world scenarios.

As a Deployment Lead, Technical, you’ll work closely with customers, users, Arena’s engineering, product, and GTM teams to successfully deploy the Atlas product on fast timelines, ultimately measuring and demonstrating value for users. Your responsibilities include building a full understanding and appreciation for your users, for their organization, for their workflows, and identifying how existing, future, or new product features and capabilities will accelerate their rate of hardware innovation. You will work closely with your users and their organization to remove blockers to their usage, technical or otherwise, making you a key player in making Arena’s customers successful in their work by using Atlas.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in driving innovation across some of the world's most vital industries, making it ideal for those aspiring to become entrepreneurs or future product or technical business development leaders.

What we value:

  • Persistence – You do not get blocked and get into places you’re not invited. You find a way to achieve the outcome. You relish the challenge of navigating complexity.
  • Insatiable curiosity – You are motivated to understand and know the answer, and unsolved questions bother you. You want to dig deeper to learn the industry of our customer, the workflow for our user, or the inner workings of our AI.
  • Execution  – Your happy place is getting things done and building machines that work, not just talking or powerpoints.
  • Collaboration – You love working as part of a team and take joy in the process of collaboration. You hold our customers’ goals as your own, and inspire and motivate others to engage alongside you.
  • Organization - You build and maintain systems to render the complex simple. You can hold many threads at once, and ensure that all track to completion.
  • Exploration – You are willing to travel all over the world to learn and grow yourself. You understand that human connection and tangible experience are critical to drive value.

How you will contribute:

  • 0-1 technical business development - identify and generate opportunities and own ideation and scoping of use cases for technical users and workflows
  • Implementation ownership - own deployment execution for one or more customer accounts, from technical strategy to stakeholder management, through consistent customer-site presence and remote engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with technical users - drive user adoption and SME engagement with the product to drive usage and improve iteration cycles
  • Technical engagement - hold technical conversations with senior client leadership as well as deep technical experts in complex hardware industries
  • Travel - domestically and internationally approximately 50% of your time

You have:

  • Full-stack technical literacy - you are well versed across a wide range of technical topics, you have significant depth in some, and you are eager and able to pick up new depths easily
  • Electrical engineering fundamentals - you understand fundamental concepts and first principles in electrical engineering, and can apply that knowledge in various settings
  • Data literacy - you can open a Jupyter notebook and conduct complex analyses yourself
  • Strong written and verbal communication & storytelling - you can communicate your ideas concisely in a medium of your choosing
  • Ability and eagerness to contribute hands on - you can contribute technically as an IC, either via code or builds in our hardware lab
