We have an exciting opportunity for a new Head of Finance to join our team based in London.  If you are a driven, detail-oriented, self-starter, who is hungry for their next opportunity this role could be for you.  

You will be working closely with our CEO and CTO during the fundraising cycles and will be a key player in the overall corporate direction, strategies and success of the business.  Additionally, we are looking for someone who can establish controls and processes that minimise risk and preserve our financial and legal compliance. 

You must be able to communicate the company’s financial health and growth to potential investors. 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, including setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • You will oversee the day-to-day financial management and control of all finance-related operations whilst demonstrating a hands-on approach and inspirational leadership style.
  • Management of financial operations include accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other executives and senior managers to develop and implement the company's overall business strategy and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Create and manage a yearly financial plan and budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum return on investment.
  • Analyse and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimisation, and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, lenders, and vendors. 
  • Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Prepare quarterly and end of year financial reports for the Senior Leadership team and the Board of Directors. 
  • Stay updated on all financial regulations and chances in various jurisdictions like US, UAE etc
  • Managing international finance operations with specific emphasis on the US markets is essential.
  • Implement company-wide, cascading revenue and profitability objectives.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Chartered Accountant (ACA / CA / ACCA or equivalent). 
  • Proven experience as a Head of Finance or in a similar finance leadership role in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem from a financial point-of-view.
  • Experience with R&D capitalisation under different accounting standards. 
  • Knowledge of global markets, regulations and tax implications 
  • Proven experience in fundraising is essential, especially in Series B or later rounds
  • Knowledge of different funding sources and structures and proven experience in revenue growth strategies
  • Advanced financial modelling skills for scenario planning and decision making is essential
