Our journey started while building an application to bring syndicated loans on chain. We realized that our idea was a nonstarter without privacy. There were no solutions to offer privacy on public blockchains - so we sought out to build it ourselves. Since then, we've made industry-leading advances in cryptography, and deployed a private money platform and a private DeFi platform.

To realize our vision of implementing privacy on a public blockchain, we are building a world-class team of cryptographers, engineers, and ecosystem builders. Supporting us on this journey are leading investors including Paradigm, Variant, Consensys, and a_capital. 

Role focus

The ideal candidate has worked in a high-throughput recruiting environment (agency or internal) and has experience sourcing and hiring elite engineers at the top of the talent market globally. The ideal candidate is a top-of-the-funnel sourcing pro but would also like to grow their responsibilities as the company matures.

Develop sourcing strategy and build a pipeline of top candidates using creative channels Contact and qualify candidates for technical and cultural fit through screening calls Create delightful recruiting experiences including interview, feedback and offer process Participate in headcount planning efforts and offer perspective on hiring budgets Monitor and report recruiting metrics to identify areas for improvement Represent Aztec to candidates by sharing our mission and culture

Required experience

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively finding and engaging pipelines of engineering talent
  • Knowledge of candidate lifecycle from planning, screening, sourcing, interviewing and closing
  • Subject matter expertise in recruiting for engineering talent and interest in recruiting for a diverse set of roles including product, full stack, language designers, and cryptographers
  • You love learning and are excited to recruit advanced cryptography and web3 experts
  • You are resourceful and are not afraid to own an initiative from start to finish
