SCOPE OF THE ROLE

The objective of the business intelligence analyst is to transform complex market, operational, and blockchain data into actionable insights that drive business decision-making and competitive advantage.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive analytical models and dashboards to track trading performance across multiple asset classes and market segments
  • Develop sophisticated data extraction and analysis methodologies for blockchain networks and crypto ecosystems
  • Conduct in-depth market research, performance tracking, and competitive intelligence analysis
  • Design and implement comprehensive dashboards  reporting frameworks that translate complex blockchain, operations, financial performance, and market  data into clear, actionable insights
  • Perform predictive analytics to support strategic planning and risk management
  • Collaborate with business management, sales, trading, and risk teams to communicate complex analytical findings
  • Extract and analyze large datasets from multiple sources, including market data platforms, internal trading systems, blockchain, and external economic indicators
  • Support strategic decision-making by identifying market opportunities, potential risks, and operational efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards and governance protocols
  • Create executive-level presentations and reports that translate complex data into clear, compelling narrative

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Min of 3-5 yrs relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analytics, or trading-related roles
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, and Tableau etc)
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trading operations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain ecosystems
  • Experience with blockchain analytics platforms
  • Aware of the importance of considering risk management and compliance issues.  
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / G-Suite.
