We are seeking a motivated and organised Last Mile Hub Coordinator to join our dynamic Bashdelivery Team.
As a Last Mile Hub Coordinator at Bashdelivery, your success is defined by your pivotal role in collaborating closely with the Hub Manager to ensure an exceptional delivery experience. Your focus on efficient operations, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement sets the foundation for success. You play a crucial part in the team, working collaboratively to address and resolve issues, achieve operational excellence and maintain a commitment to customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Efficiently manage both outbound and inbound parcels, overseeing the entire process from collection to delivery, ensuring the adherence of SOPs
- Lead and manage the inbound and outbound teams to ensure smooth operations and timely parcel handling
- Consistently monitor and ensure courier reliability to meet and maintain delivery targets
- Work closely with the Last Mile Delivery Support Agent and Hub Manager to investigate and resolve courier and customer complaints promptly
- Execute follow-up procedures to address and rectify issues raised by couriers and customers
- Collaborate with the Hub Manager to implement incentive programs for drivers and hub runners to boost performance and motivation.
- Maintain effective communication channels with internal teams, drivers, and support agents to address issues and ensure smooth operations
- Drive efficiency in all tasks related to parcel management, collection and delivery processes
- Execute parcel consolidation by receiving parcels and verifying the accuracy of the parcel details and subsequently consolidating parcels based on delivery routes and courier supply
- Effectively manage courier supply by executing courier recruitment, vetting and training
- Be ready to step-in operationally wherever the need may be required
WHO YOU ARE:
This job is for you if you have:
- 1+ year of experience in supply chain operations execution
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams for efficient operations
- Reliable transport and are flexible to travel
- Great communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a wide variety of people
- Great organisational skills, are able to multitask and effectively prioritise under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues promptly
- Good IT skills and are comfortable to work on various software packages
- Are comfortable working over weekends and on a shift rotational basis
- A commitment to ensuring an exceptional delivery experience for customers
One or more of the following will help you stand out:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing efficient SOP’s
- Experience in an e-commerce environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
- A commitment to customer service excellence.
