We are seeking a motivated and organised Bash Runner to join our dynamic youth development program. If you have a passion for ensuring the efficient movement of parcels from malls to our hubs, this position might be a perfect fit for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coordinate the efficient collection of parcels from various shopping malls.
- Ensure secure loading and transportation of parcels.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to establish schedules for parcel pickup and delivery.
- Maintain parcel movement SLA’s.
- Address issues or delays promptly and professionally.
WHO YOU ARE:
This job is for you if you have:
- You have your own vehicle and valid driver’s licence which you will use to transport parcels
- You have your own device [Android 5 upwards]
- Able to work shifts [between 08h00 and 19h30, Mon-Sat]
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
- Your organisational and time management skills are exceptional.
- You excel in communication and have strong interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation are second nature to you.
- You can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
One or more of the following will help you stand out:
- Additional logistics or transportation certifications.
- Experience with parcel tracking and management software.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
- Multilingual proficiency to facilitate communication with diverse mall representatives.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
- A commitment to customer service excellence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet operational demands.
