So, what will you be doing?

 

  • Extract, clean, and transform data, handle complex datasets with accuracy and thoroughness, transforming it to valuable insights for decision making >> Design, build, and test data models that provide the insights that run the business!
  • Design and maintain dashboards that bring data to life, helping teams across the business to visualise and self-service deeper investigations of trends and other performance indicators
  • Productionise and automate previously-manual queries that underpin critical analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and ongoing reporting for key metrics - help us understand the impact of A/B tests, product launches, promotions, and more on revenue growth, member performance, and acquisition
  • Work with external data vendors to ensure our data is accurate, consistent, and useful
  • Foster a data-driven culture: empower teams to leverage data for solutions and innovation through training and thought partnership

  • Strong problem solving skills, a highly analytical and commercial mindset
  • Strong BI experience: SQL (Snowflake or similar) and data visualisation tooling (Tableau or similar)
  • Desire to be immersed in business functions, understanding all levers of the business
  • Ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and functional experts
  • Self-motivated, with a growth mindset that embraces challenges, fosters creativity, and seeks continuous improvement in data analysis techniques
  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field (such as economics, mathematics, engineering, finance etc.)
  • Prior experience in a data analyst role, and/or experience in a high growth ecommerce business, strongly preferred
