We’re Beauty Pie. We’re the world’s first luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club. And we’re disrupting the beauty industry, one face cream at a time.

Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail - and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.

Beauty Pie is looking for a Social Art Director to join the brand’s creative studio as they embark on a new chapter which sees the elevation and refinement of the brand’s visual language across all touchpoints. As our Social Art Director, you will be responsible for setting the overarching narrative and art direction for the Social Content Hub’s content creation under the Creative Director’s vision. You will be creating and maintaining the Social Media Brand Guidelines and ensuring they are adhered to, to create a coherent look and feel across all social content in line with the overarching brand language. The role will require a creative, commercial and analytical eye, as well as an ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments across the business. You will keep a close eye on the social feed overall, ensuring coherent visuals whist working with the marketing and growth teams to understand asset success analysis and metrics. You will also be responsible for briefing external videographers, CGI artist and so forth to create elevated social content for the brand.

This is a hands-on role that involves creating as well as mentoring. In addition to your own work you will manage and inspire your team of creators to deliver across multiple touch points and channels. You will have two direct reports: A Social Content Creator and a Digital Designer, and you will be reporting into the Art Director & Design Director. You will work closely with the Social Media Strategist. Structurally you’ll line manage junior and midweight talent, to support their progress and development.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Establishing a strong pool of on-brand influencers and content creators to work with when required
  • Curating an exciting, consistent, always-developing stream of content to engage our existing audience and grow our follower base, while cementing our key legacy moments as a brand

  • Adhering to and evolve best-practice techniques and standards (image specs, engagement and deployment strategies) for each platform and asset type
  • Translating sometimes one-way brand work into video/motion and graphic social content concepts that spark conversations and work collaboratively with video animator/editors to execute
  • Prepping simple shoots, liaise with directors/photographers and manage shoot process from concept through to execution in collaboration with a Producer
  • Leveraging social media learnings and performance data to pivot and optimize posting and content strategies

We believe it's all about mindset, great skills, the right attitude and a fantastic work ethic. If you’re aligned to our values, excited about the opportunity, and you’re really good at what you do (even if you don’t tick all the boxes) apply anyway!

  • Impeccable Art Direction aesthetic and vision
  • Social-first native with a background in art direction and digital content creation
  • Experience in video, still and graphic execution for social media
  • Proven track record working within a fast-paced social media team, leading content creation across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube

  • The flexibility to adapt to the ever-evolving climate of social media
  • Strong experience in the role along with people management experience.
  • Innovative creative approach within the social space
  • Great communication skills, written & verbal, when it comes to directing or presenting design concepts
