What will you do as Electrician?
As Electrician you work together with energetic, multidisciplinary colleagues. We are scaling our production during this year with a factor 6! Every battery system you will build is sold. The challenge lies in building and testing our 800V DC battery systems quickly, accurately and safely. For our 10ft. Battery Containers, we standardize as much as possible and you will play an important role in giving feedback to our engineering team on how to further improve the product. We will also expand our productportfolio the upcoming time. Next to wiring our battery packs, you are also involved in connecting fast charger kits, assembling inverters and our gridcon and of course our PLC-boxes and much more components. A brief summary the job can be found here:

• programming and connecting inverters and other components
• connecting and commissioning different connections ranging from fast chargers to cloud solutions
• adjusting or expanding the distribution box
• independently carry out and report measurements 
• testing the battery systems with a huge focus on quality and safety at all times
• When needed you are flexible to provide service in the field (Netherlands)

What will you bring to Big Ass Battery?
It won't surprise you but we are looking for people with a lot of energy! You get excited about working at a fast-growing company where the future is open. You are curious and eager to learn. You are problem solver and you like to roll up your sleeves. You have a healthy dose of humor and you are just an excellent colleague. You also recognize yourself in the following profile: 

• A technical education at a vocational level (MBO 3 or 4) in the direction of electrical engineering
• Preferably a valid NEN3140 certificate and/or VCA basis or you have the willingness to obtain this
• You know how to handle measuring equipment and you can read wiring diagrams
• Experience and knowledge with PLC is considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of 400V AC systems
• Demonstrable experience in a similar position is an advantage
• Strong affinity with technology and interest in High Voltage DC systems
• Quality and safety are very important to you and you will document the steps you take
• You are in possession of a driver's license B
