The Role

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive product growth? Bitly is seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager, Product Analytics with a passion for driving growth and a keen ability to harness data insights to propel product development. Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the aptitude to translate technical insights into tangible business results is essential for success in this role. As a key player in our team, you'll not only serve as an individual contributor but also mentor and supervise our talented product analyst. 

What You'll Do

  • Drive product growth strategies through in-depth data analysis and insights
  • Collaborate with the Product Growth team to understand their data needs and provide guidance on leveraging data for decision-making
  • Utilize advanced SQL expertise to analyze data in the Data Warehouse and ensure data quality and integrity through data cleaning and validation processes
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and craft narratives that convey the significance of data-driven findings
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with up-to-date information and collaborate with business partners to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques to automate and enhance decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., product, marketing, finance, sales) to address specific data-related inquiries and support decision-makers by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal data security policies, and implement measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access
  • Stay updated on the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices, and seek opportunities to enhance analytical skills and knowledge
  • Utilize data science techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities, and translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for product enhancement

Who You Are

  • Proven experience as a Product Analyst with a strong record of success driving product growth
  • Strong leadership skills and experience or interest in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BI and Analytics, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Looker, and experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, strong project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expertise in SQL and Data Warehousing, attention to detail, and ability to work with large datasets

The annual cash compensation range for this position is below.  Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed.
Pay Range
$161,600—$242,400 USD
