About the Role
The Systems Engineer – New Projects will work at the intersection of the Engineering and the Commercial team supporting the development of new opportunities alongside potential customers across a range of sectors including Aerospace, Motorsports and Off Highway applications amongst other. The candidate will play an integral role in partnering with customer technical teams to develop technical solutions that meet their requirements and allow Bold to win new business. The position reports to the CCO and works under the technical guidance of the Chief Engineer.

What You Will Do
- Be the technical “go-to” person for all-things tech during the RFQ response process
- Capture technical needs and requirements from customers, even if these are not detailed in a document
- Develop high-voltage battery system requirements alongside customers
- Develop technical solutions and associated proposals that are compelling to our customers and allow us to win new business
- Lead and oversee internal efforts and workstreams linked to inputs needed for technical proposals (simulations, cell tests, etc)
- Support the commercial team with technical insights that unlock new opportunities and winning strategies
- Develop and utilize cell-based computational models to support High Voltage Battery System architecture
Skills you will need
- 3-5 Years Experience as Systems Engineering or technical project lead of High Voltage Battery Systems
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles involving technical and commercial aspects
- Confident communicator with the capability to influence technical decisions at all levels of an organisation
- Avid user of PowerPoint and other IT tools
- Experience in Battery System Development
- Experience with requirements definition and management
- Fluent in English
Skills that would be great to have
- Experience with Requirements Management Tools (Polarion, Integrity, DOORS, Aurous, Etc)
- Knowledge of development-related analysis methods (FMEA, FTA, V-model, etc.)
- Knowledge of Simulink, Matlab, Visual, C++ or Phyton
