What is this role about?

In the role of Portfolio Manager at Bondora, you will be integral to our operations and strategic growth. We expect you to keep a track of our aggregated portfolio performance across all the markets, and report the performance on a regular basis to both the core risk team as well as the top management and the board. In addition, you will assist on designing our pricing strategies to optimize company’s profitability, work with Country Risk Managers to identify both opportunities and potential problems within their portfolios, as well as work with the finance team to set and support our financial targets. You will be a part of our Pricing team, part of our Risk department.

What would ensure success in this role?

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in credit risk, portfolio analytics, or a similar role within the consumer lending space.
  • Strong background in mathematics, economics or finance.
  • Experience in impacting business decisions and thinking strategically in your role.
  • Being best friends with Excel and great friends with Python and/or SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex financial information effectively to top management.
  • Experience working in both regulated banking sectors and dynamic fintech environments.
