What is this role about?

We are seeking a senior Expansions Project Manager to lead our market expansion efforts across Europe. This role is central to our strategic initiative, with the goal of successfully launching and scaling operations in multiple European countries. The first countries to focus on will be Denmark, Lithuania, Spain, and Poland, with more than EUR 20M expected combined profit impact during the first year of full operations.

This role will be located in our Tallinn office!

Your tasks:

  • Oversee the market entry process from planning to execution, following existing playbooks as well as improving them on the go.
  • Drive the opening of new markets within agreed deadlines and budget, ensuring all milestones and KPIs are met.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as legal, marketing, product, operations, and external partners.
  • Manage relationships with in-house and external stakeholders, including lawyers, country risk managers, and service providers.
  • Track and report on launch progress, ensuring all parties adhere to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Support the scaling of new markets post-launch, supporting growth strategies as needed.
  • Consolidate learnings from each launch to refine future approaches and improve efficiency.

What would ensure success in this role?

  • Proven experience in either managing market expansion OR project management, ideally within credit or other regulated industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Analytical thinking with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Being highly adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You're a results-driven professional who takes initiative and owns the entire process from start to finish.
