How you’ll fit in to the big picture ✨
The Pre-Sales Solution Architect will support Boxxe's sales team by delivering expert technical advice, solution design, and strategic guidance to our customers. You will gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. With a strong understanding of Microsoft technologies like Azure, Microsoft 365, and Hybrid Cloud, you'll create high-level and low-level designs, respond to RFPs, and provide technical input to proposals and pricing. Your ability to blend technical expertise with commercial awareness will ensure successful outcomes for both Boxxe and our clients.
What you’ll be doing 🎯
- Delivering technical pre-sales on Hybrid Cloud solutions, including Azure, Microsoft 365, EUC/VDI, and security technologies
- Attending customer meetings to gather and document business and technical requirements
- Collaborating with Professional Services teams and third-party partners to deliver solutions
- Building and maintaining strong technical relationships with customers
- Creating and delivering confident, clear technical presentations tailored to customer needs
- Producing high-quality solution proposals and delivering them on time
- Conducting Proofs of Concept to demonstrate the value of technologies to customers
- Working with delivery consultants to ensure accurate scoping of services
- Assisting in the development of new service offerings and refining existing ones
- Supporting tender teams with well-crafted responses to tender requirements
- Leading customer workshops, including Digital Transformation, Workplace Assessments, and training handovers
- Producing clear and accurate technical documentation for internal and client teams
What experience we think you’ll need 🚀
- 3+ years’ experience designing customer-facing technology solutions in a pre-sales role
- Strong understanding of the UK Managed Services market
- Proven expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure IaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform
- Experience with cloud and hybrid environment migrations
- Commitment to staying updated on public cloud developments
- Broad knowledge of core technologies such as networking, virtualisation, servers, storage, and databases
- Familiarity with vendors like Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, VMware, HPe, Lenovo, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and CrowdStrike
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities
- Confident in explaining technical solutions and handling queries on products and services
- Experience writing high-quality proposals
- End-to-end project delivery experience
- Willingness to occasionally travel across the UK
