Your Mission 💪
As an integral part of the People Team, you’ll be responsible for supporting on our day to day people processes , and providing administration and operational support to all our boxxers on all things ‘people’ related focused on providing a great colleague experience. As a People team, we are committed to achieving operational excellence, and this role is vital to that success. Your role will be key in continuously improving our people service delivery so we’re seeking someone passionate about assessing our current practices and processes, making necessary improvements to ensure the team is set up for optimal performance.
What you’ll be doing 🎯
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, employment contracts, pre-employment checks, and new colleague materials.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Technology teams to arrange a welcoming and organised onboarding experience for all new colleagues.
- Manage day-to-day People services across the entire employee lifecycle, including family leave, probation, flexible working, performance management, and off boarding.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries via the People mailbox, escalating complex issues to the broader People team.
- Work with the People Advisor and Finance team on payroll and benefits to ensure accurate and timely processing for all employees.
- Administer company benefits and reward schemes.
- Maintain colleague data and produce regular as well as ad hoc reports.
- Promote a safe, healthy work environment by supporting workstation risk assessments and fire evacuation procedures.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects that align with business needs and the wider People strategy.
What experience we think you’ll need 🚀
- Proven experience in a similar HR / People Administrator or HR / People Coordinator role in a fast paced, professional environment
- Ability to deal with matters confidentially and sensitively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work collaboratively
- Customer focus mindset with the ability to deliver a great colleague experience
- Ability to multitask effectively, well organised and able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvement and adapt to changing situations
- Flexible, adaptable team player with a willingness to learn and develop skills within the HR / People profession
- Takes pride in work, maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
