What’s the role?
We’re looking for an experienced Data Strategist who can develop and implement Data Strategy services for some of our largest clients in Singapore.

What this job is

  • Crafting data solutions to achieve marketing and business goals utilizing media and technology
  • Leading various data workstreams for cross-channel media execution and performance
  • Bridging the gap between agency media channel leads, clients, and data services

Give me a breakdown of what a Data Strategist at Brainlabs does:

  • Leads day-to-day Data Services for their assigned clients, including onboarding, relationship management, project management and overall execution of data projects and deliverables.
  • Leads discovery into clients’ data and tech maturity and overall data management
  • Define & design data strategies for clients.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. 
  • Ability to analyse mined data and prescribing the model-based recommendations/actions for the end users.
  • Perform EDA, build data science models, monitor outcomes and also coordinate with different functional teams in the process
  • Accurately assesses, aligns, and translates client needs/problems into tangible analytical solutions through utilization of first party and third party data, internal Brainlabs tech and data resources, external partnerships, and/or analytics technology thereby delivering outcomes
  • Manages work streams around Taxonomy and Data Operations, delivering high-quality and error-free media activation
  • Partners with all Data team roles across analytics, measurement, ad ops, adtech/martech solutions, activation and reporting insights to ensure proper and timely completion of all critical tasks and delivery against client and agency needs.
  • Develop measurement frameworks, processes and standards  aligned to client business objectives that enable effective media optimisation 
  • Work closely with APAC leadership and activation team to unlock the value of client and media data, enabling the activation of client data in media, facilitating data driven insight, and data enabled strategy and decision making
  • Educates internal and external Client Delivery teams of data strategy capabilities and projects
  • Sets future stated vision for evolving ad/martech landscape for the client
  • Become a trusted advisor to our clients for data management, data strategy and data analytics

What particular set of skills would suit this role?

  • Experience in data science/data analytics for clients
  • Experience working in an agency/consultancy environment.
  • Working knowledge of adtech, martech, and data visualization tools and their role in delivering end to end data collection, segmentation, targeting, forecasting, and insights.
  • General understanding of data engineering, data science, data management  and how it relates to overall business objectives in multiple verticals
  • Stakeholder management, team managements & trainings
  • Fluent understanding of the Google Marketing Platform (incl. products & key benefits).
  • Knowledge of python or R, Java script, SQL is desirable
  • Have demonstrable experience in data services (Data Science/Data Engineering/Data Analytics)
  • High level knowledge of how paid media channels (paid search, paid social, programmatic, direct IO, and affiliate marketing) contribute to branding and performance goals
  • Hands on experience utilizing or recommending solutions for any of the following technologies:  ad servers, tag management solutions, data modeling, cloud (AWS/GCP,Azure), DCO, data visualization, clean rooms, web analytics, DMPs/CDPs, mobile measurement partners, 3P brand measurement, or data warehouses.
