About this Role

BVNK is seeking a motivated and proactive candidate to join our global commercial team as a Business Development Representative. You will be using sales strategy, strong prospecting skills, and process to help grow pipeline that leads to revenue. The position will call on you to handle inbound leads, and work with the sales reps to target accounts for outbound efforts. This is a lead generating position with potential to grow to a closing role in the future. You will report directly to your relevant Sales Manager.  

What you will do

  • To be the first point of contact and qualify all  inbound leads coming from the website, webinars, events among other sources
  • Conduct market research to uncover needs within each industry vertical or business segment
  • Work closely with the Account Executives and Sales Managers  to identify new business sectors to target and align on a prospecting strategy
  • Leverage sales skills via phone, email and social media in an effort to gauge and influence interest in BVNKs products and qualify prospects for a more in-depth conversation
  • Build list of target prospects, create and execute the outreach strategy (i.e. campaign content, follow up sequence, objection handling)
  • Facilitate a positive, customer-obsessed experience throughout all team and customer collaborations
  • Be actively involved with industry news, conferences, and events and thus being a credible ambassador for the business in all dealing with prospects and customers 

Desired Skills And Experience 

  • Experience - 1-2 years sales/business development/account management
  • Experience in financial market, SaaS or PaaS sales/business development
