About the role:

 

As our Senior Brand Designer within our Design Team, you will be an advocate for consistent and cohesive design throughout the company. Reporting to our VP of Design and collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Product Design teams, you will help us establish a clear and concise brand voice, tone, and personality in a hands-on way.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Define and create a visual language as an extension of the brand (illustrations, icons, colours, typography, etc.)
  • Lead cross-discipline collaboration as it relates to brand experience.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
  • Contribute to the brand strategies developed for projects including ideas that demonstrate insight and innovation and solutions that engage the audience
  • Implement the creative execution during the design stages of projects under the guidance of our VP of Design and Brand Design Lead.
  • Educate others on design thinking, brand experience, and design-driven storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Product Design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience between Marketing and Product.
  • Continually iterate on concepts in an effort to make the brand relevant and relatable to our segments/users.

About you:

  • You have 5+ years of experience with solid examples of work.
  • You are fluent in brand, marketing and design principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, colour, web layout design, print production, photography, and more.
  • Demonstrable design thinking and execution skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Designing visual frameworks including illustration and iconography systems.
  • Proficient use of Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A clean design is part of your DNA.
  • Experienced working in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile way

  • Experience with HTML/CSS or Framer.
  • Experience mentoring junior designers.
  • Experience designing for FinTech.
