Account Representative (Dealing) - Toronto

As an Account Representative (Dealing) at Convera in Toronto, you will work with a portfolio of corporate clients on their foreign exchange requirements to achieve set business goals. You are expected to actively service these clients on their payment requirements on both our online and offline channels in our Toronto, Canada office.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing expertise in the areas of corporate foreign exchange and payment solutions to our Canadian clients.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Booking FX deals over the phone for customers.
  • Hedging discovery and upselling.
  • Monitoring market conditions.

You should apply if you have:

  • Ideally some experience in FX Sales or Dealing.
  • If no FX Sales or Dealing experience, you will come from a B2B sales role (within Financial Services, along with the desire to move into an FX/ Payments role).
  • Comfortable in person, on the phone, and via email with clients to explore their needs and present solutions.
  • Degree preferred: Bachelor's from university.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pro-active and takes initiative.
  • Driving activity, new relationships, opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build / maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for foreign exchange and payments.
