We are looking for an exceptional GTM professional to join the Global Verticalized Business segment as Account Representative in Canada with a focus in the NGO Vertical. This role reports directly to the Head of Dealing, NGO for North America and has responsibility across the customer lifecycle for growing and retaining our NGO customer base.

Role Overview:

The Account Representative will report directly to the Head of Dealing, NGO, North America and will be based in Canada. This role can be based in our Toronto or Montreal offices, or remotely in Canada. Some travel will be required. In this role, the candidate will manage a portfolio of NGOs and partner with their clients on payment strategy and execution with a goal of client growth and retention. The candidate will work with a portfolio of NGO/Nonprofit clients on their Domestic and international payments to achieve set business goals. The role will be expected to actively service these clients with their payment requirements, be their day-to-day contact to help with inquiries and challenges, and work with client to set long term payments strategies. The role will be responsible for account planning, day-to-day management of the portfolio, and product expertise with a focus on being the voice of the customer to all relevant internal parties (e.g., Marketing, Product). The candidate will execute an account management retention and growth plan to both preserve and drive new revenue growth within the NGO sector.

Responsibilities:

· Consistently champion Convera values internally and externally.

· Serve as the trusted advisor to customers by deeply understanding their business needs and providing guidance on how to best utilize Convera tools support their mission.

· Provide foreign exchange and payment solutions expertise to portfolio of NGOs.

· Maintain excellent business relationships and be comfortable working with points of contact throughout client organization.

· Processing and helping clients process payments over the phone or online.

· Articulating and driving customer use cases, value, and expansion opportunities while maintaining a trusted advisor status.

· Ensure an excellent service delivery and develop growth opportunities within all customer segments to maximize their revenue potential and increase retention.

· Drive internal escalations for client technical and payment issues with appropriate internal teams.

· Develop proposals with key decision-makers to offer a range of appropriate solutions to support clients.

· Represent Convera in person with clients and at industry events.

· Understand how global events can impact NGO financial needs and support clients both proactively and reactively in highly sensitive situations.

Experience:

· Strong interpersonal skills to lead and build relationships and senior executive level both internally and across the customer base.

· Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships while driving activity for new relationships, opportunities.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Customer focused with strong initiative and interest in foreign exchange and payments.

· Experience managing clients’ portfolios via Salesforce is preferred.

· Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

· 3+ years of work experience in FX Sales or Dealing/Account Management.

· 3-5 years’ experience working within the foreign exchange or payments industry.

· 3-5 years’ experience managing customer relationships.

· Preference for applicants who have experience managing business relationships within the NGO community and an understanding of the wider NGO landscape.

· Comfortable in person/on the phone with clients to explore their needs and present solutions.

· Strong attention to detail.

· MUST HAVE Fluency in both English and French.
