As part of Convera's Instrumentation Team, you'll help develop data solutions for business problems, constantly improving our data landscape and the way we can best utilise and optimise data within the company. As a Data Analyst, you will continually develop and learn new skills to support Convera's data needs, initially by utilising your base understanding and competency in database, pipeline, ETL and data processing skills. That will soon evolve and bring opportunities to develop your skills and learn new skills within our range of data tools, such as AWS, Snowflake, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and Tableau. 

You will be responsible for:
 
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
• Prepare data for broader business use e.g. predictive modelling.
• Drive improvements in data quality and efficiency within the Convera data platform.
• Help build and maintain data systems and data sets which support company requirements.
• Create new and maintain existing governance documentation.
• Partner with functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand data content and business requirements.
• Engage in necessary training and development as part of your growth towards an established Data Analyst role.

You should apply if you have:

• Previous experience or education with basic database, SQL and data processing skills.
• Passion and motivation to develop and drive a career within data.
• A solutions focused and 'can do' approach when tackling problems.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Tableau or Python would be beneficial but not all a requirement as training will be provided where needed.
