As an Accounts Payable Analyst with Convera, you will be responsible for accurate processing and timely execution of daily and weekly payments of vendor invoices and employee expenses. This position also includes researching disbursement issues, effectively and professionally communicating with internal and external customers, while functioning as a team member within and across departments.
In your role as Accounts Payable Analyst, you will:
- Coordinate with A/P outsourced team to provide seamless AP workflow.
- Manage invoices and purchase orders using Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS
- Review vendor statements and resolve outstanding items.
- Work with accounting systems support team to resolve technical issues
- Research and resolve payment issues
- Help maintain Accounts Payable email inbox
- Contribute to month-end close processes and audit activities
- Maintain organized Accounts Payable records and update procedures
- Support a system transition at a transactional AP level
- Analyze workflow processes and provide feedback on improvement opportunities
- Assist AP Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, policies, and procedures, to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
You will ideally have:
- 3-5 years of accounts payable experience
- General understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of ethical judgement
- Ability to use technology (e.g. MS Office suite, Oracle Cloud, Concur)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with a Global team of colleagues in 20+ countries
