Cash Management and Corporate Liquidity Manager – Remote

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Cash Management and Corporate Liquidity Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day cash management operations, cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring efficient cash management processes. This role requires a deep understanding of treasury operations, financial markets, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cash operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure optimal cash utilization and liquidity management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain adequate liquidity levels. Monitor and manage short-term and long-term liquidity needs.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of treasury professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment with a global team.
  • Oversee the investment of excess cash in accordance with Convera's investment policy. Monitor investment performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cash management and liquidity. Implement risk management strategies and controls.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve cash management processes and systems. Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Continuing the deployment and enhancement of the Treasury Management System (TMS), driving optimization and enhanced controls
  • Facilitate cross functional stakeholder groups to prioritize and ensure aligned strategic objectives.
  • Manage and track progress against clearly defined performance indicators
  • Be a self-motivated go-getter who is willing to take on work outside your comfort zone and works well in ambiguity.
  • Be highly data/insights-led – laying out the evidence when presenting recommendations to senior leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with cash management, banking systems and electronic payments
  • Experience in payments, FX, banking and/or the Fintech space
  • Highly structured ways of working and outstanding problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making, even when you don’t have all the data
  • Strong communication skills – able to present arguments simply & logically, including use of verbal and written communication to express ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Strong influencing & interpersonal skills – you earn respect and can execute through influence; able to build productive and positive relationships at all levels across the org
  • Ability to both think strategically and have a practical bias for action with an "ownership" mentality; will deep dive to drive execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical in how to execute against Convera’s transformation agenda – willing to work hands on to help coach teams on best approaches to deliver results
  • Humble, can-do attitude with a learning mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity; you are intellectually curious, have a passion for excellence and want to make a big impact
  • Works well in a fast-paced fintech, PE backed environment
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word – skilled in business logic development, analytics/modeling and communication to executive audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred from an accredited educational institution
  • Available for some limited travel for meetings, conferences, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ION/Treasury Suite or other Treasury Management Systems is preferred
  • Experience implementing and/or optimizing Treasury Management Systems is a plus
  • Experience managing teams is a plus
