In this role, you will help shape the future of Convera’s platform API business and contribute to new customer solutions in the payments and international money movement market. This role is part of Convera’s Global Product Management team building products for our partnership business. This is a leadership product role with expectations of leading a small team of PMs, developing and delivering on the strategy of how to expose our platform APIs to partners, and managing our Partner journey.

As Senior Manager - Product Management, you will evangelize the partnership value proposition to Convera stakeholders and customers. This role will work directly with our Partnership Sales and Implementation teams, platform engineering teams, other product managers, and external customers. Along with Platform leadership, you will develop the long- and short-term roadmaps including technical trade off decisions, evaluating system design and vendor choices. You will work with the Product leadership team and your direct reports to continuously evolve our Product practices. You will lead the standardization of our API products to ensure a cohesive API product.

To succeed in this role, you will be expected to intimately understand our customer problems and Convera’s value proposition. You will identify solution gaps, market trends, product metrics, and assess the competitive landscape. You will be expected to use data and intuition to make decisions and influence product strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

  • With cross functional collaboration across the organization, build the Partnership product strategy to support Convera goals and growth
  • Steward delivery of the partnership product roadmap across the platform
  • Understand the competitive landscape within the Payments space with a particular focus on integrations
  • Meet with prospects and customers to understand their problems and help paint a picture of how Convera can help them
  • Manage a small team of PMs with a focus on delivering APIs and developer tools, SDKs, embedded payments
  • Set and oversee standards for all engineering contributing to external APIs to work to
  • Evangelize product roadmap to both internal and external audiences
  • Define & track product success criteria across technical and business criteria
  • Prioritize feature backlog according to broader strategy and customer needs
  • Evaluate technical, operational, and business tradeoffs in product decisions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBA preferred
  • 8+ years relevant experience with at least 5 years of product management experience
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or other technical degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to create clear, concise technical documentation suitable for developer consumption
  • Proficiency in platform development and testing required
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as sales, accounting, operations, and compliance required
  • Experience working with ERP or core financial/accounting products preferred
  • Experience with embedded payments and SDKs preferred
  • Ability to build organizational trust and strong partnerships
