About the platform

We launched in 2016 as a marketplace for fonts with a subscription service. In the last 6 years we have been through tremendous growth, and we're just getting started!

We have scaled to 30 million+ monthly page views, viewing over 4 million listed products from 14000+ active designers.

Our focus is to create a platform for designers that enables them to offer exceptional high-quality content. We make their products searchable in unique ways. This allows our customers to speed up their workflow, allowing them to focus on what they love most: Creating.

Job description

Within the marketing team, as a Localization Manager, you will be reporting into the Lead Product Marketer. The marketing team is responsible for increasing brand awareness and engagement of our community on our platform and social media as for existing customers and to reach new customers. The product marketing team is responsible for the growth of the different verticals through partnerships and promotions! The team is super hands-on, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks throughout Creative Fabrica’s marketing funnel.

Responsibilities

  • End responsible for the localization workflows between product, (freelance) translators, SEO copywriters, marketing and translation agencies
  • Source, hire, onboard and manage a team of local freelance translators and copywriters and engage with local agencies
  • Manage the relationships with translators and agencies and ensure high quality and timely delivery of the content and make sure it is in line with our brand and tone-of-voice
  • Manage and own any linguistic and cultural challenges between languages
  • Optimize content and products for local interests and events
  • Be part of product launches by managing and coordinating with translators and copywriters
  • Work together with multiple stakeholders within the organization and keep track of their translation requests
  • Maintain content libraries, manage versioning of all translated content and identify improvement opportunities
  • Understanding of SEO trends and optimizations

Your Profile

  • 4+ years localization experience
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time across different teams
  • Experience with a language service provider and knowledge of industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written) plus at least one of the languages you are responsible for (Dutch, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German) and a working knowledge of a third language. Knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Experience with translation queue management and road mapping
  • Experience with SEO tools and analyses

Required Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently supporting various stakeholders, receive feedback, meet deadlines under pressure and maintain cross-functional relationships
  • Results-oriented with strong time management skills, highly organized and driven to succeed
  • Comfortable with working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to manage a hybrid team
