HR Generalist Germany

 

Will we be able to teach computers how to cook food? Probably not. But in the meantime, we will launch our intelligent kitchens throughout Germany, starting with Berlin, and bring truly yummy food to residents of the capital. Our kitchens are about as modern as it gets, and sometimes they feel more like a spaceship than anything else. We abide by all the relevant labour laws and regulations, taking very good care of our kitchen crews, which is where you come in.

 

Curb's People & Culture team is now looking for someone that can support German operations in the day to day running of our kitchens. This will mean a healthy mix of classical, operational HR, such as labour law, recruitment, compensation and benefits, but also making sure Kitchen Crews are properly onboarded and highly engaged.

 

What about you: 

  • You have 2+ years of experience in operational HR, ideally from a restaurant chain 
  • You are well-versed in German labour law, and can communicate fluently in German, in writing as well as in speech
  • You have experience from union negotiations, and building long term relations with union representatives
  • You are comfortable running end-to-end recruitment processes for blue-collar workers
  • You are passionate about startups
  • You LOVE structure, organisation and communication
  • You are willing and able to travel, mostly in Germany

 

What about the role: 

  • You will partner closely with Kitchen Operations to support on all people topics
  • You will play a vital role in launching new kitchens, hiring the crew & onboarding them
  • You will work closely with the global team to ensure training materials, job ads etc are adapted to the German market
