The Release Engineering team cover the whole Darktrace product suite, helping to create software updates and ensuring their stability. The team also plays a key role in troubleshooting software issues, collaborating closely with our Support Engineers and acting as a crucial liaison to our Development Team. In this role you will gain a broad understanding of large areas of the Darktrace product suite alongside opportunities to take on small projects, allowing you to utilise and develop your scripting skills.
This role is suitable for experienced and those early on in their careers.
This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
Key Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
- Identifying new issues and diagnosing reported issues within the Darktrace platform
- Liaising between the development team and our support team
- Developing, configuring and automating systems and services.
For this role you need to have the following skill set:
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to leverage tools and data for troubleshooting and optimization
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a small team comprised of varying levels of experience
- An interest in cybersecurity, tech businesses, and emerging technology trends
- A strong desire for continual learning and professional growth within the industry
- Familiarity with the Linux command line and/or scripting languages such as Python or Bash would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a DevOps or QA role would be beneficial, but is not a prerequisite
