Darktrace have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our Payroll Management team on a 13 + Month fixed term contract. This role can be worked from either our Cambridge or London offices. This is an opportunity for you to join a fast pace team with the opportunity to learn quickly. As this role is at a senior level you will have the ability to work as a key member of the payroll management team on a range of payroll compliance and processing responsibilities, assisting with the implementation of new payroll processes and provide end to end payroll processing support on more complex payrolls.

Responsibilities

Part of a rapidly expanding business, Darktrace’s Payroll team cover 28 different payrolls across 28 different countries globally. You'll get full exposure to global payroll management and associated projects. Specifically, you'll be assisting and working on;

  • The accurate and timely review and approval of a small portfolio of assigned international payrolls (countries).
  • The documentation of any changes to processes and ensuring process improvements are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Year end reports for assigned payrolls.
  • Year end group and local audit queries.
  • Taking ownership of monthly administrative tasks for assigned payrolls and ensure that all email correspondence is handled promptly and urgent matters are resolved within agreed SLAs.
  • Line management of a small section of the team approving holidays/expenses and being their point of escalation.
  • Being the subject matter expert in the implementation of new payroll services and changes in any outsourced providers.
  • Contributing to the payroll management team in setting objectives, timelines and reorganisation when required.

 

Candidate requirements:

You'll be able to demonstrate solid experience within payroll and global payroll management and compliance. Have had experience in the implementation of a new payroll software's/vendor. Ideally you will be qualified in CIPP Level 5 or however ACCA/CIMA/ACA or any other reasonable qualification will also be considered. It is also essential you have a good understanding of employment Law
