You will join the dedicated R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our software engineers work on a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset.

The AI Analysis team focuses on a range of products and software which aim to automate the human analysis process, including the Cyber AI Analyst, as well as a number of other products and the data and infrastructure to support them. Members of the team typically work in one or more areas including Python development, security research and analysis, machine learning research, and cloud architecture.

This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to projects ranging from the rapid prototyping of new ideas to more open-ended research projects.
  • Working with software engineers to test and deploy the results of this research in production.
  • Working towards the aim of furthering our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks.
  • Innovation is of paramount importance and as such, creativity in approach is encouraged as much as traditional project-based development.
  • The role requires core competencies in machine learning, but also includes opportunities to collaborate in software development and devops engineering.

Essential:

  • Experience working with Python and Pytorch.
  • Experience with transformer-based neural network architectures.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Be a team player but with the ability to operate autonomously and take independent decisions.

Desirable:

  • Experience with recent large language models (e.g. GPT4, LLAMA2, Falcon).
  • Knowledge of classical NLP approaches (e.g. TF-IDF,  POS-tagging, Word2Vec).
  • Experience with graph neural networks (e.g. MPNNs, GCNs, GATs).
  • Experience with cloud architecture (e.g. AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or networking.
