As an Email specialist Solutions Architect, in the field of Cyber Security, you will be part of a targeted overlay specialist team supporting the Americas go to market team on our largest customer opportunities in email. As an overlay resource, you will provide technical pre-sales specialization and guidance focused on promoting and maximizing selling Darktrace Email Security solutions. Your primary objective will be to partner and support account teams to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and foster customer understanding and adoption of our cloud products. This role requires strong mentorship skills, deep knowledge of one or more cloud provider suites, cyber security, and a passion for driving solution and technical excellence in the field of cyber security.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Mentorship: Coach, inspire, and mentor the broader sales engineering organization in the field of email & cyber security as part of opportunity engagement to maximize their individual and collective potential.
- Pre-Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the sales and pre-sales leadership team to develop sales strategies, set targets, and create actionable plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives in the Email cyber security domain.
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales results by fostering a high-performance culture, implementing strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the Email security market.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the Emil cyber security industry, ensuring you possess deep knowledge of the company's competitive cyber security offerings to effectively address customer requirements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, assess competition, losses and make informed recommendations for market penetration and product development in the cyber security field to relevant Product Marketing Managers and Product Managers.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement and utilize appropriate pre-sales performance tracking tools and systems to monitor performance, generate accurate forecasts, and provide timely reports to the senior management team.
- Enablement and Development: Create, maintain and coordinate efforts with other email field specialist and for broader account teams around existing and new product features as well as market trends and general Email security knowledge that helps discover, position and result in customer acquisition and customer success.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8-15 years experience in Enterprise Software / SaaS pre-sales, with a focus on selling and/or deploying cyber security products and services. Specific experience selling Email security solutions in the Enterprise market.
- 5+ years of Pre-Sales experience with documented track record of success.
- Cyber Security Knowledge: In-depth and hands-on understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and industry trends, including knowledge of various security solutions, email and network infrastructure in particular, and the pertinent threat landscape.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop indirect pre-sales/technical teams, with strong coaching and mentoring skills to drive individual and team success.
