Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling any shipping/extraction email queries received from the Account teams with regards to their accounts and appliances.
  • Liaising with customers to arrange the extraction of our appliances, helping them to prepare them for shipment and arrange the courier service for them to be collected and returned.
  • Helping to arrange and prepare shipments out of our depots primarily but also assisting other departments in any shipping requirements they may have. E.g. for support and maintenance purposes.
  • Monitoring all shipments to ensure they arrive on time and resolving any issues encountered along the way to keep the process as smooth and quick as possible.
  • Maintaining records on our internal systems to ensure that all information Is current and accurate with regards to the whereabouts of all stock.
  • Liaising with appliance suppliers to ensure sufficient supply of all stock to meet demand
  • Ensuring that the site is well maintained, and that security, health & safety policies are all adhered to
  • Ensuring that the general day to day operation is running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an office environment and dealing with administrative tasks
  • Excellent Numeracy and communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize work
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience in office management, including health & safety and maintenance co-ordination
  • Fire Marshall and First Aid qualifications are ideal, but not required. Training will be given.
  • Experience in dealing with courier services, particularly Fedex
  • Experience in US Export controls is ideal but not required
  • Experience in using Workday and/or Salesforce is ideal, but not required
