THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.
As DevOps Engineer, you’ll have remit to build out DevOps within our clients’ organisations. This position will suit someone with their first experience in a DevOps Engineer position, or a Software Engineer looking to move into DevOps. We are looking for someone who would like to use their skill set in a dynamic, technology-driven established start-up.
Your core goals as DevOps Engineer:
- Working with our clients to build DevOps pipelines
- Advising our customers on DevOps best practices
- Building out DevOps functions within clients’ organisations
- Liaising with customers and project teams through the project development lifecycle
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the DevOps area or experience as a Software Engineer
- Programming experience in Python/Java/Go
- Thorough knowledge of CI/CD tooling
- Passion for technology and desire to learn
- A desire to join a diverse team of ML, AI and DevOps enthusiasts
Bonus points (but not essential):
- Prior experience in start-up / scale-up
- Expertise with containerisation/virtualisation technologies (Terraform/Kubernetes)
- Experience in implementing SRE Principles
- Cloud Native Architecture experience, ideally in Google Cloud
- Prior experience in a client-facing role
- Understanding of SDN (Software Defined Networking) on Google Cloud
