Role

We seek a diligent Operations Manager to support our Global Consulting Delivery team, to work alongside existing Operations Managers and report into the Delivery Operations Manager The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our consulting organisation by managing crucial project management and people data, streamlining administrative tasks, maintaining our PSA systems, and assisting reporting on key metrics to senior leadership. 

Given the dynamic and fast-paced nature of working in a technology consultancy, this role would suit someone with impeccable organisation skills and the ability to adapt to the ever changing requirements of our projects. This is a great stepping stone to develop your operational skills as you work with project managers, sales managers, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure that our projects are able to run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing data entered in systems such as project delivery timelines, resource assignments, and budgets
  • Monitoring timesheet submission compliance and ensuring accuracy of time logged by consultants.
  • Monitoring consulting employee’s workload, utilisation, and overtime.
  • Assisting in capacity planning by monitoring forecasts and proactively identifying gaps in capacity.
  • Assisting the process of creating resource requests and assigning people to projects based on their skills, experience, availability, and career goals..
  • Assisting Delivery Managers in planning project kick offs, generating invoices, and project close-outs.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Delivery Managers, Sales Leadership, and Finance to continually improve, document, and train employees on standard operating procedures throughout the lifecycle of an opportunity from qualification through to delivery.
  • Preparing reporting of key metrics within delivery for executive and board-level meetings.
  • Setup and coordinating meetings with key internal stakeholders across Delivery, Sales and Finance

Requirements: 

  • Highly organised approach to your work and able to juggle competing priorities.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data in key systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A natural communicator with an engaging and considerate approach.
  • A drive to develop communication skills in order to manage stakeholder relationships of all levels. 
  • Desire to join a diverse, multi-national team of AI & Cloud Engineering enthusiasts.

What would really set you apart:

  • Training or hands on experience in standard project management or agile delivery practices
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Knowledge and experience of working with CRM and Analytics Tooling

Office: The role is being recruited hybrid-remote in the North East of England, with occasional travel to the London office
