A Dermalogica Assistant Store Manager is at the true heart of where these results happen in our Business. Based on the shop floor with your Store Manager and team, you are responsible for encompassing our mission of empowering and educating all our customers to have their best skin possible. You will demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service and combine this with a very personalised and educational approach to all the conversations you will have. 

You will lead by example and show case your expert product knowledge and the passion to make a difference will you be successful. You will drive new business opportunities and encourage your team to think outside the box and help them excel.

The responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager…. Could this be you?

• Drive retail growth month on month through motivating and supporting the team, exceed all location targets & KPIs.
• Work with the store manager to drive services within your store analysing the business and implementing action plans to elevate services in your store.
• Take charge, drive and motivate the team whilst the store manager is out of the business and ensure a smooth running of the location.
• Regularly mentor & coach your team members, driving them to succeed.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure strong onboarding plans are in place for all new starters.
• Analyse your business to identify key areas of opportunities and work with the store manager to implement training plans to develop these areas.
• Carry out regular assessments with each team member to ensure treatments are being performed to the highest standard.

Do you have the below skills?

• You will already have the education that Dermalogica can then build on and develop further. This will be in the form of an equivalent Level 3 in Beauty Therapy with Facial Electricals. This is an absolute ESSENTIAL so that we can ensure that the standards of our therapists are consistent. 
• Level 4 Beauty Therapy qualification, which must include Microneedling and Chemical Peels. If you do not hold the Level 4 qualification, then Dermalogica will fund this as part of your development, as it will be a fundamental part of the role. This training is worth £3,200.
• At least 2 years supervisor or team leader role experience, ideally within a retail environment.
• At least 2 years training experience and a passion for coaching and developing team members to excel in their roles.
• An outgoing, creative thinker who has the ability to create theatre at the counter to really inspire and draw our customers to us. 
• You will have a passion for skin health like no other brand has ever seen. You will use this passion to inspire others.

**Please note that candidates must have finished their NVQ 3 or 4 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent at the time of application and must be able to provide a certificate at interview.
