The Role:
Meptik is looking for an experienced, full-time Technical Solutions Manager to join our expanding team.
The Technical Solutions Manager works with clients, key internal departments, external companies and strategic partners to design complex technical projects, specifically related to virtual production stage builds, LED stages, and other immersive technologies.
The Technical Solutions Manager works with the client to determine their needs and create a system design and technical project scope. This role also may also manage future technical solutions specialists
Based on global project demand, interaction across other regions and time zones may be required to support the global team.
A successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and proven prior technical experience. They will need to be confident in managing clients and customers, looking at the big picture while also paying attention to details, and raising issues.
The Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their needs and then design technical plans to meet those needs.
- Design system topology, wiring diagrams, CAD drawings, and other deliverables
- Interact with the sales team and clients to determine their needs and draft them into actual project deliverables.
- Ensure strong & clear communication between all parties in a given project.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Make decisions within given tolerance.
- Aid in developing processes related to technical solutions.
The requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, to budget, on time and to a high quality.
- Proven technical skills required to plan projects utilizing technical design and procurement software
- Experience working in video system design and system integration
- Experience with a wide range of technical gear related to video production, LED walls, networking, screen control systems, media servers, and pixel-canvas management.
- Previous experience working in virtual production is a plus
- Self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
- First class communication, analytical, problem solving and team management abilities
- Create and sustain a positive and productive team culture to ensure success
- Someone who is flexible, innovative and forward thinking
- Ability to present formally to senior staff
