The Role
DNA Script is looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join the Data Science team as a Data Science engineer. In this role you will play a crucial role in helping the company leverage its data and gain valuable insights. By organizing and analyzing the vast quantities of data generated by our proprietary DNA printers and other activites, the engineer will enable our biologists and engineers to make informed decisions and drive innovation. Their work will be central to the development and maintenance of data analytics pipelines, the support of data infrastructure, and the implementation of the company’s AI strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the data science team to organize and leverage the data of the Company
- Help support the data infrastructure supporting the data flow and consumers at the company (bioinformatics, finance, etc)
- Define and support the data model of the company
- Develop and maintain data analytics pipelines
- Provide novel insight based on data
- Help in implementation of the companies AI strategy
Experience / Qualifications :
- Engineering school/Master in the field of either Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, or Statistics
- Coding experience in python (for example Jupyter notebooks, Pandas, data visualization, web framework like Django/Dash/Flask)
- Experience working with databases
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills : interest in learning from R&D scientists, ability to understand their needs and explain how to use the developed tools.
- Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
- Good level in English
