Description
Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables, and the right collection of offerings. Align final solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules, and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions. Ability to confidently articulate the future of Finance Operations and the journey roadmap for the strategy. Champions a structured approach to solutions design. Communicate the essence of the solution, collaborates, and coordinates with stakeholders to shape the final design of the proposal. Assures solutions not only are fit a specific purpose but also closely aligned with the Company's vision, purpose, and interests. Continues to challenge the status quo and brings in a larger industry perspective to solution design. Establishing processes & templates for streamlined responses to RFPs, RFIs or other customer touch points. Pre-sales support in the form of responding to RFPs, RFIs, preparing proposals, presentations, creating research and business reports, handling client visits.
Functional domain Expertise
Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Planning & Analysis, Project Financial Controlling, Tax, Time & Expenses
Responsibilities:
· As part of our Solution Architects team, you are working with experienced colleagues to implement our solutions within customer projects, owning and managing the design from initial design workshops until go live
· You are responsible for translating business needs into functional design requirements and technical system requirements
· Reviewing and optimizing solutions for customer specific business problems is a main area for you to focus on
· You are the key responsible to ensure the customer is comfortable that solution design addresses requirements
· Defining the overall integration architecture between internal ERP and other backend systems and the E2open Software in terms of functional data flow (data choreography)
· You support our program directors to manage scope against contract
· You brief and support the engineering team during the implementation
· You travel approximately 20% of the time to customer sites / workshops across Europe
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
· Advanced degree in Business, industrial engineer or comparable field, background in IT or Computer Sciences is a plus
· Understanding of Supply Chain Management practices
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent English communication (oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills, German skills are a plus.
· Strong background within the Supply Chain Domain, particularly around Execution, Collaboration or Logistics tools or processes for a minimum of 2 years (Forecast/Commit, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Logistics, TMS, Transport Planning, Carrier Allocation, Carrier Booking)
· Experience (design, testing, training) in software deployment projects (no software development experience required) is a plus.
