Integration Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Integration Engineer at e2open, you will deploy, monitor, trouble-shoot, and analyze deployed integrations and application performance. Collaborating with business teams, system administrators, sr integrations engineers, data engineers, and solution architects to make recommendations for improvements in efficiencies, scalability, and changing business requirements. As a member of the Integrations and Data Engineering team your contributions will be vital to the success of the organization as we facilitate multi-million-dollar transactions, while creating efficient, transparent, and dependable processes. The Integration Engineer is a self-starter, inquisitive, and passionate about learning about business processes, systems, and existing integrations.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Deploy, maintain, document, trouble shoot, and support existing integrations processes between applications across the cloud and/or on-premises using Dell Boomi Atomsphere platform (cloud integration, application integration and enterprise APIs)
- Monitor integration processes, application, and systems to ensure there are no interruptions in business processes.
- Work with Sr Integration Engineer’s, Data Engineer’s, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve data and/or deficiencies found in production.
- Document recommendations for improvements in efficiency, scalability, and/or accuracy.
- Work on support tickets.
- Adhere to strict deployment methodology including peer review, QA, UAT, and scheduled releases.
- Other tasks and activities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years relevant work experience with Dell Boomi. Will consider experience with other integration applications such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Workato.
- 1-2 years working with Postman or other such tools.
- 1-2 years working with application APIs using REST and SOAP services.
- 1 year using scripting languages such as java and/or python.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks of varying and/or similar priority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be proficient in Boomi connectors including Salesforce, NetSuite, Email, Database etc.
- Basic SQL query proficiency.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
- Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
- Placing and receiving phone calls
- Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
- May require travel if needed.
