FX & Structured Products Analyst

Madrid - Office Based

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for: 

  • Collaborate on the product strategy for FX Risk Management, focusing on subdomains such as MiFID entity, Derivatives , and new FX Products.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of new initiatives withinFX Risk Management, whilst identifying and executing improvements in current features and processes.
  • Stay informed of market, industry, and regulatory trends in FX Risk Management and Fintech that will guide Ebury’s product decisions.
  • Support product commercialisation efforts, including proposition development, business case formulation, stakeholder training, and the creation of marketing collateral.
  • Define, track, and monitor KPIs for product initiatives, making data-driven decisions and actions based on the results.
  • Communicate product performance against KPIs to relevant stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of stakeholder (internal and external) needs and behaviours to design and deliver successful product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Data and other stakeholders to define requirements, processes,  epics, and user stories.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market and regulatory trends in FX Risk Management, using this knowledge to inform decisions.

 

Expectations: 

You will have:

  • A strong client focus, making decisions informed by client feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), enabling clear communication of product needs and requirements to leadership, business, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.

 

Must Haves:

Ideal candidates must be able to evidence: 

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in product and execution, either in corporate or startups.
  • Experience in a consulting or project management role, or experience in a high-growth fintech, neobank or FX firm.
  • Understanding of derivatives and structured products. 
  • Successful delivery of solutions in a fast-paced, agile organisation.
  • Proactive with organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of breaking down complex problems into manageable parts.
  • A history of grit, determination, and resourcefulness, coupled with a strong desire for professional development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority. An extremely social candidate with a great sense of humour will do fantastic in this team.
  • Domain knowledge or a keen interest in Derivatives, FX and finance
