Do you want to be a part of a young, hungry start-up working towards electrifying the world's vehicles and machines? Do you like to work in a dynamic environment at an internationally growing company? And is your personal battery charged at the end of the day when you know that the financial administration is in control, and you are working towards a stronger financial fundament? Then we think you might be the perfect fit for the Financial Administrator we’re looking for at ELEO.

What will you do as a Financial Administrator at ELEO?

You will be part of the Finance team and your role will be pivotal in shaping ELEO's financial landscape, driving data-informed decisions and ensuring our financial health.

At ELEO, we're gearing up for an exciting phase with external audits on the horizon and our innovative products ready to make waves across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Finally, our goal is to enhance budget monitoring and financial management, which can only be achieved with the right insights. In your role, you can contribute to all these goals as you'll be responsible for ELEO's entire financial administration.

As you may agree, solid financial administration is essential for sound decision-making at all levels, serving as the foundation for finance. Your responsibilities will include handling and recording all incoming and sales invoices, ensuring timely payments to our suppliers and from our customers.  Collaborating closely with our Procurement and Sales teams, you'll spearhead efforts to optimize processes, driving efficiency and minimizing manual tasks. In addition to these daily tasks, you're expected to take a proactive role in improving financial processes, including documentation.

As ELEO’s new Financial Administrator you will be dealing with:

  • Daily management of invoices: allocating them to the appropriate accounts and cost centers.
  • Sending out sales invoices and following up on payments.
  • Monitoring outstanding purchase invoices in the workflow.
  • Ensuring correct coordination between received goods and invoices.
  • Processing credit card statements.
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and internal control testing (future requirement).
  • Managing the finance mailbox and addressing queries from suppliers.
  • Continuously reviewing department processes and suggesting improvements.

Requirements / Background

  • Enthusiasm for finance, attention to detail, pragmatism, and a willingness to learn.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with both the finance and other ELEO teams.
  • A proactive approach to addressing (potential) issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Financial or administrative background, experience within a production company, and in an international environment are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and additional finance (ERP) systems.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Dutch.
