What will you do as a product compliance specialist at ELEO?
At ELEO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our cutting-edge products meet global battery regulations. Dive into the dynamic world of off-highway electrification, where every day presents an exciting challenge as regulations continue to evolve. As our new Product Compliance Specialist, you'll not only assess the state-of-the-art but actively engage with industry associations like RECHARGE to implement new legislation.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a comprehensive regulatory overview tailored to different global regions and applications.
- Active participation in industry associations to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
- Evaluating potential new applications and customer requests with a keen eye on compliance.
- Educating ELEO personnel on applicable standards and how to be compliant with the regulations.
- Coordinating homologation testing with our dedicated testing team and certification bodies.
- Ensuring all documentation and certificates are organized and up-to-date.
- Keeping abreast of emerging product regulations and industry trends.
Requirements/Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of the global product compliance landscape.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in product compliance, homologation, or testing, preferably within the battery/electrification sector.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others.
- Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to create structure and convey complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
- Willingness to occasionally travel and participate in industry conventions and association events.
