If you
combine analytical thinking with a hands-on mentality and want to use your skills to support the digitalization of the energy transition, we are looking for you! You will work in data protection and data security at ENVIRIA and take responsibility for your own areas from day one.
How you'll help shape the energy transition while ensuring data protection
- You support the creation and maintenance of the record of processing activities and help document data protection processes
- You assist in conducting data protection impact assessments and analyzing data protection risks
- You support the review and adaptation of privacy policies and consent texts
- You help process data protection requests and communicate with data subjects
- You analyze together with our teams the data protection compliance of new projects and processes
- You support the development and implementation of data protection training for employees
- As part of the Compliance Team and in close collaboration with the external Data Protection Officer, you'll get to know a scale-up from the inside and have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues on a daily basis
What you bring to the table
- You are in advanced semesters studying (e.g., Law, Business Law, Business Information Systems or comparable programs) ideally with a focus on IT Law/Data Protection or between Bachelor and Master
- You have up to 20 hours per week available for a working student position
- Ideally, you have initial practical experience in data protection or compliance
- You have high quality standards for your own work and work in a structured and precise manner
- You have above-average analytical thinking skills and are not afraid to familiarize yourself with complex legal requirements
- You have excellent German and English language skills
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office
