Our team is focused on building Evmos, the port-of-entry for launching applications across multiple blockchains.

Evmos is the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Hub on Cosmos and enables developers to launch apps that run smart contracts across any number of EVM and Cosmos-based blockchains. It makes that process as simple and seamless as possible by allowing developers to continue creating apps in programming languages like Solidity or Vyper they’re already accustomed to in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Evmos opens a new frontier for blockchain applications, expanding the functionality of the EVM by enabling cross-chain applications that tap the liquidity and user bases of multiple blockchain ecosystems to provide more unified experiences.

The Tech Recruiter will be responsible to lead our recruiting efforts to find world-class blockchain talents, and ensure that Evmos remains a strong employer brand. You will work closely with our core team, People, Operations and Engineering to ensure we are all aligned on who we want to add to our team. 

We are looking for people who will make Evmos better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Lead talent hiring and growth for a distributed, Engineering-focused team and culture
  • Integrate new team members into international, remote-first teams
  • Support the development of the market-leading employer brand for blockchain-interested talent
  • Streamline and improve onboarding/off-boarding processes and HR data management
  • Deliver key monthly and quarterly reports detailing Talent Acquisition metrics
  • Participate in special projects focused on the overall people experience

 

What you will learn

  • You’ll get familiarity with blockchain technologies and to a point where you can develop an intensive depth of knowledge of them
  • Setting up compensation in distributed companies
  • Represent Evmos as an employer brand at conferences, and in our digital channels and communities
  • Organise international team building and-/or company events
  • Lead and provide visa and sponsorship guidance
  • Management of multiple technical recruiting agencies
  • Presentation-building experience (Google Sheets, Powerpoint)

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in executing Inclusion and Awareness programs
  • Setup and executed Engineering Training & Development curriculums
  • Experience with international Recruiting, Employee Management and Payroll programs (e.g. Greenhouse, DATEV, Personio)
  • Setting up employee referral programs
  • Familiarity with the Cosmos and Ethereum blockchain ecosystems
