What You Will Do

  • Manage and maintain virtualization engine software on bare-metal servers, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
  • Effectively monitor, analyze, and plan for storage capacity on the SAN hardware, ensuring sufficient space for future needs.
  • Maintain a secure and reliable network environment, including firewalls and connections to internal and cloud networks.
  • Collaborate with application developers to manage and support Oracle Databases and WebLogic applications running on the virtualized platform.
  • Understanding the high-level overview of our architecture, and possessing the ability to systematically document new and existing requirements to ensure a smooth project delivery without miscommunication.
  • Work closely with the Information security team in ensuring that we are adopting security best practices.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 4 years of engineering experience.
  • BS/MS Degree in any relevant major. (ex: IT, Computer Science, etc) OR a proven track record in DevOps
  • Experience on managing on-premis physical servers
  • Experience on managing Oracle Software
  • Managing cloud servers (AWS, GCP) is a plus to have
  • Working with cloud-native tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, OpenTelemetry) is a plus to have
  • Working with databases and storage servers (MySQL, Postgres, and Redis) is a plus to have
  • Working with Infrastructure as a Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) is a plus to have
